Description: 1. SL has been sufficiently flaky about attaching and re-attaching things that it would be very beneficial to be able to check the time remaining on a gag trial, just to be sure that the trial hasn't been interrupted or the time cleared.

Gaea, the time is available for the first two levels (noob-friendly) as well as the First Slave Sudden-Death level.

Otherwise, the idea is to keep the sub in a state of suspense.

Regardless, the sub's Owner can check the timer.

Also, HUD7 does auto-save your time (unlike HUD6 which relies on SL's timer function which rolls back time when you crassh), so you should be good.

I appreciate your intent .. possibly I'm overly paranoid, but wondering whether or not SL mechanics are still working isn't the level of suspense I was hoping for. I'm currently my own owner, so could you tell me how to access my timer value?

Unfortunately when you're self-owned, you're in the Schizo mode. The assumption is that when you 'lock' yourself or start a Training, you're the Evil Twin.

But the moment it is locked, or Training is started, you're the Poor Twin who is powerless. i.e. you don't get to see the Timer as the sub - if you're Adept or Slave.

So that's the compromise - if you're Initiate, Novice or First Slave you still get to see the timer as a sub. So that's not too bad a trade-off imho.
