Description: 1. Take your sub to a well running sim which allows rezzing and make sure that she doesn't wear any other RLV stuff, except her Lulu gear to avoid the possibility of interference. 2. Rezz at least two objects, a scripted one created to sit on (I used a posestand.) and an unscripted one with a surface that allows sitting (I used a renamed default cube.) 3. Choose one of the objects and force sit her onto it. 4. Close the menu by hitting "done". 5. Reopen it and unsit her. 6. Close the menu by hitting "done" again. 7. Force sit her onto the other object and proceed. 8. Always close the menu after any action. 9. Change the sim after a while and go on. What should happen: When force sitting her she should be made to sit on the targeted object and you should receive the related chat message. "... Miriam will not be able to escape the Stone Block through a relog, nor by unsitting. ❢ *Only you* can release her by going to: uHUD Menu > rlv... > unsit « your eyes only »" When unsitting her she should be made to stand up. What actually happens: The first force sit seems to work most times, although the related chat message just appeared for me once. Afterwards the chance for a malfunction grows very high. Restarting the uHUD makes the feature to work properly again (but just once most times). Please view the results of my trials below: 1.) Force sit onto unscripted prim with suitable surface (renamed default cube) ---> failed 2.) Force sit onto cube ---> failed 3.) Force sit onto scripted prim (posestand) ---> passed but related chat-message didn't come up 4.) Unsit from posestand ---> failed 5.) Unsit from posestand ---> failed *** uHUD restarted *** 6.) Force sit onto posestand ---> passed and related chat-message came up 7.) Unsit from posestand ---> passed 8.) Force sit onto default cube ---> failed 9.) Force sit onto posestand ---> failed 10.) Force sit onto cube ---> failed *** changed Sim *** *** uHUD restarted *** 11.) Force sit onto posestand ---> passed but related chat-message didn't come up 12.) Unsit from posestand ---> failed 13.) Unsit from posestand ---> failed *** uHUD restarted *** 14.) Force sit onto cube ---> passed but related chat-message didn't come up 15.) Unsit from cube ---> failed 16.) Unsit from cube ---> failed *** changed Sim *** *** uHUD restarted *** 17.) Force sit onto posestand ---> passed but related chat-message didn't come up 18.) Unsit from posestand ---> failed 19.) Unsit from posestand ---> failed *** uHUD restarted *** 20.) Force sit onto cube ---> passed but related chat-message didn't come up 21.) Unsit from cube ---> failed 22.) Unsit from cube ---> failed Conclusions: [a] Sim-related malfunctions are highly unrealistic to me due to 3 different well running places I did trials on. [b] After the first malfunction one can expect the next one until the uHUD gets restarted. [c] Actually just (6) truly passed because of the missing chat-message within all of the other passed force sit-tests. This one was the only test that allowed the next test to pass too. (8) failed, so I suspect something went wrong in (7) as well (because of [b]). [d] (3) seems to contradict [b] but the conditions had been slightly different in the beginning. I did a few things including a tp before that were not related to the following tests. Possibly this caused an influence on the first 5 results. |

Btw I've sent beta.10 your way. When you said 'failed' do you mean you click "force-sit" and the usual list of objects fails to show up? Or do you mean the list shows up and you click one object, but the avie fails to move to the object and sit? If it's the first one, I think it's been fixed in beta.10. |

The feature works well now. Neither failed attempts to force sit ("...the list shows up and you click one object, but the avie fails to move to the object and sit") nor to unsit anymore! A few times after having been unsat, I experienced just being given back the ability to stand up but having to unsit manually but it looked to me the furniture itself could have caused a bit interference in that cases. As long as being unsat from no or simple scripted objects everything worked perfect for me. The popup for sub does it's job fine too. 🙂 |
