Description: Inside the gag's loose/tight settings-menus, there are options available which only will be applied for the related way the gag is worn. A remark pointing the user to this, is always displayed on top of the menu, if the user is surfing inside the one, in which the settings are done for the way, the gag is currently not worn. (Please view attached file.) This remark is highly mistakable, because the "No-IM"-feature and the related whitelist including Owner Yes/NO- and whitelist YES/NO-settings are global, unlike the other settings. (loud, drool more, mangled) I suggest to highlight this fact inside the comment at the top of the menus by enhancing it. An example: "These settings will only be applied when Miriam's Gag is worn TIGHT/LOOSE. (currently TIGHT/LOOSE) Despite the other ones, "NO-IM" and the "whitelist..." including the settings inside its submenu are Global and always will be applied to both, a loosened or tightened worn gag too." Inside the related "whitelist..." settings-menus (Please view attached file again.), I would place a second warning on top again (even above the current remark, which is already present there. An examle: "Attention: These settings here including the whitelist itself will be applied to both, a loosened or tightened worn gag too!" "..." These are long texts just for the top of a menu but might fit into them anyhow and they are could avoid much confusion, I believe. |

Hi Miriam, Yes, I agree that there needs to be new User Interface changes to avoid the confusion. I've been thinking about this and I see two options: (A) move the "whitelist..." button away from the Loose and Tight settings menu, and into the main Settings menu. I will also add menu clarification in the WHITELIST menu that this is a global feature, applied whenever No-IM is on. (B) Just add menu clarification in the WHITELIST menu that this is a global feature, applied whenever No-IM is on. No need to do anything to the No-IM button as this is not global - you can turn on No-IM in TIGHT and turn it off in LOOSE, and they will be independent of each other. i.e. tighten -> No-IM on; loosen -> No-IM off. Not global. It's only the whitelist that is global. What do you think? |

Hi Lulu, spontanously I'd prefer A. Just global features together inside the main menu and just local ones inside the sub-menus are more logic and lower the chance of misinterpretations. Only trap coming with this solution would be the "No-IM"-feature, because it's local. There's the global whitelist getting activated or deactivated by the local "No-IM"-feature. This could get confusing quickly. (Until you pointed me to "No-IM" being local, I as well concluded, it would be global.) For this reason, I suggest not just to add menu clarification in the WHITELIST menu that this is a global feature, applied whenever No-IM is on but to underline there as well, that "No-IM" can be set separately inside the loose/tight settings-menus. |

Hi Lulu, the confusion has gone since using Signature HUD 7.5.0-beta.1.7. I like this solution. Thank you. 🙂 |
