Issue ID# 300 | When gagged there's no difference using "/8" for garbling or just typing in chat normally. | |

Description: 1. Gag your sub. 2. Choose a random configuration for her ability to garble in local chat. 3. Let her try to speak using both "/8" and the common chat-channel as well. What should happen: Using both methods should cause different results, otherwise "/8" would be completely surplus. What actually happens: The results are always the same instead. What about denying sub to use the common chat-channel when gagged in general? She could get just zapped if trying to do anyhow, so using "/8" would become mandatory for her to be able to garble. |

Hey Miriam, /8 is there because not everyone is on RLV. Without RLV, chat text cannot be 'hidden', so /8 is the only way to go. With RLV, /8 is superfluous, and is intended to be the same as chat text. |

Hi Lulu, this makes sense; I haven't viewed it from this point yet. Anyhow I still like the idea of getting zapped if not using "/8", because it would make talking a little bit more difficult (or getting punished instead) as long as being gagged. |
