Description: 1. Wear the Leashring. 2. Rightclick it and choose "Drop" in the viewer's contextmenu. 3. What should happen: The Leashring should be placed on the ground. What actually happens: It sticks into the ground instead, deep enough to cause the lower end of the dangling chain sticking into the ground as well. (Please view attached file.) If you compare with a Leashring rezzed from inventory, you see that this one is placed on the ground as it should. (Please view attached file again.) |

I believe this is a known issue. The problem: (1) SL drops objects at different height above ground thane when you Rez them. (2) There is no way for me to find out how far above the ground the object is. Also, ground can be a false floor, or real world ground. Hence, my solution was to find a compromise that doesn't look too bad in most cases. As there's nothing I can really do here, I'm going to close this - if you have fresh insight, please IM me 🙂 -- Author changed. 21/06/2017 16:38:14 PDT -- Comment edited. 21/06/2017 16:38:14 PDT |

It's just a minor issue anyway. One needs to look quite closely to notice it. |
