Description: 1. Make sure not to be self-owned. 2. Wear your gag. 3. Open it's menu or push the tighten-button on the oHUD. What should happen: You should be able to tighten/loosen the gag as long as it isn't locked. What actually happens: Under no circumstances you've got access to this feature. It's explicitely Owner only. (Please view attached file.) I suggest to keep Owners' ability to use this feature in general, so no matter if the gag is locked or not, it would stay available for them. Sub shouldn't be allowed to use it, while the gag is locked, to prevent her from altering restrictions on her own then. |

Hey Miriam, this should be a feature request. Currently, the thinking is this: because "tighten" and "loosen" apply a bunch of options (e.g. garble, drool etc.) that are Owner-only, the button is also Owner-only. I know that logically one would think that you could actually tighten or loosen your Gag if unlocked, but here, since we're using this as a "metaphor" for applying a set of Owner-only controls, we might have to keep it Owner-only. What do you think? |

Hi Lulu, aboriginally there was just one reason for me to post this issue - your comment on Issue #253 before abandoning it (Note #1129). Please let me quote it: "Hey Miriam, you *can* tighten or loosen your own Gag :)" I'd like to quote my response as well (Note #1131): "Ops, it seems to be me having poked directly into a wasps nest (bugs nest *giggles*) then, because actually I'm NOT able to do this at all! Let's keep this issue abandoned; I'm going to post 2 new ones instead. (Issues #261 and #262)" I intended this report to be a bug-report, not a feature-request, because Note #1129 stated, I would be able to do it but actually it isn't possible at all (as long as not self-owned of course). If this statement wasn't correct, I suggest simply to close this issue and keep the tighten/loosen-feature exactly like it currently is. I'd be very fine with it, because personally I think, a sub playing around with her gag too much just needs attention and begs for getting her hands restrained and her butt spanked. 🙂 |
