Description: 1. Have your sub on the leash or leash her somewhere else. 2. Let her sit (or force-sit her) on a random object in reach. This could be a poseball, a piece of furniture or an unscripted primobject, even a default wooden prim. (Just make sure to rename the default prim, if you want to force-sit her onto it. The HUD seems to have difficulties detecting objects being named just "Object".) 3. Let her stand up again (or force-unsit her). What should happen: She just should stand up. What actually happens: Immediately after standing up, sub's tp-screen appears. It seems no valid location to be targeted, because these tp-attempts always fail and need to canceled by using the button on the tp-screen. After doing so, sub stays still next to the object, she got up from before, except there's a defined tp-in location at that place, so that she needs to be yanked back (but just if the leash didn't break because of this. It happened to me from time to time.) or teleported back by Owner (if she didn't was leashed somwhere else). |

I'm using Firestorm, and it works as expected - on standing up, sub TPs back to original position before she was force-sat onto an object. This prevents sub from using sit-tp as a way to move away. Also, this is an RLV feature - it's outside my control. I just have an active @standtp command, and on standing RLV will force-TP the sub back. Maybe it's a Singularity issue? |

Today I tried it out using Firestorm but received a different result. Similar to Singularity standing up triggers a tp-attempt which fails always. The difference to Singularity is, that Firestorm recognizes the failure immediately and aborts the attempt with an error-message. (Please view attached file.) Unlike in Singularity there doesn't happen a push-back to a fixed landing-point after abortion either. At this point I'm thinking about if it's really necessary to tp sub back to the original position after standing up. You said: "This prevents sub from using sit-tp as a way to move away." Actually sub is already prevented from this because sit-tp is always forbidden while on the leash like the other 4 tp-possibilities are forbidden as well. Wouldn't it be easier just to let the leash yank back sub to the leashhandle (no matter wether in Owner's hand or rezzed somewhere) instead? She couldn't sit far away from it while on the leash anyway. |
