Description: 1. Have your sub on the leash and do a teleport. 2. Take care that she's actually teleported with you to be sure that the connectivity between your leash ring and her HUD is stable. 3. What should happen: If the connectivity of her HUD and your leashring is ok, the leashring shouldn't "complain" and the leash should be still there. What actually happens: If you did a longrange-tp between 2 sims, after teleporting the Leash ring messages you because it has supposed to loose contact with her, although she stands behind you already. Additionally the leash has vanished. If you did a shortrange-tp on the same sim, the Leash ring messages you as well. Your sub even hasn't been teleported with you. Instead she receives an "Unable to initiate teleport due to RLV restrictions" by her viewer and chokes herself "nearly to death" on the leash, hardly to be able to move. It's the same bug than issue #187 of course, but I submitted an extra bug report for this to keep the whole problem clearly-presented. |

Hey Miriam, could you tell me the SL time that this and the other TP issue happened? As well as the sim name so I can look at the logs? My tests were fine - so I suspect it could be some sim lag issue. |

Yes I can. Wow, this one took a looong time to hunt down. The fix is in the 7.2-beta.2 update, out now 🙂 Perhaps you could see whether the other TP bugs are fixed too? If so, let me know, and I'll mark them as completed - and yes, it was a good idea to separate the bug reports when the repro steps are different, even if they *might* have the same root cause. We won't know until we look, and meantime it keeps everything manageable. Thanks! |
