Description: 1. Begin with no gear worn. 2. Attach the complete set (collar/cuffs/gag). 3. Detach the complete set after a while. What should happen: Each of the 3 parts should announce what happens in chat giving Dom and sub a proper status-message. This should happen on attach and detach as well. What actually happens --------------------------------- Attach collar: Dom receives a mistakable message about re-rez being completed in private. This message usually occurs after accidental/illegal detach. Sub doesn't receive anything. Attach cuffs: Neither Dom nor sub receive anything. Attach gag: Neither Dom nor sub receive anything. Detach collar: Neither Dom nor sub receive anything. Detach cuffs: Only on detaching cuffs both receive the matching message. (Please view attached file.) Detach gag: Neither Dom nor sub receive anything. It makes no difference wether Dom or sub do this operations. The result is always the same. There's a mini-bug in chat-messages of HUDs and gear in general I'd like to point at too: They always identify as "(Unnamed)". (Please view attached file again. Look for "(Nicht benannt)" at the beginning of each message.) |

Again I took a close look onto the message coming up when the cuffs are being detached. "Miriam has been bound for..." "...releases the chains on all of Miriam's Cuffs." "Miriam's arms and legs are now free." This message is mistakable as well, because it would match to being unchained but not for the cuffs being detached. |

I need to correct my statement on the mini-bug I made at the end of this bug-report: HUD and uHUD always indentify themselves properly if sending messages in proprietary mode (yellow); only messages that are sent as common object-chat, be it in private or in public (green), identify themselves as "unnamed". (Please view attached file.) I observed this in two different viewers (sl-viewer and Singularity), just to close out the possibility that it could be a viewer related issue. |

As far as "unnamed" goes, it appears to be a veiwer-related issue, as Firestorm displays it correctly. (Also, it would help me a lot if you keep to one report per issue - e.g. the (unnamed) is another issue). Otherwise it would take me a *lot* longer to figure out what to do in each report. As it is, this report covers Cuffs, Gag, and Collar not just for attaching, but detaching as well, that's really six places I need to look for six different things! 😉 |

This bug-report, including the comments and the viewer-related "unnamed-thingy" I added, is confusing; I'm sorry for this. Partially it's wrong/outdated (regarding the collar-message) as well. I suggest just to close it. I would open a new bug-report afterwards, shorter and clearly-presented, which would be up to date too. |

Thanks Miriam 🙂 Looking forward to your new report, hopefully I can get to it before getting 7.2-beta out the door. |
