Issue ID# 151 | HUD isn't able to differ between intentionally not worn cuffs and accidental/illegal detach. | |

Description: 1. Begin without cuffs, then wear some of them (Just not all!) either by chatcommands or from inventory directly. 2. Lock the cuffs. 3. a) Either have your RLV-relay already active (Mode doesn't matter, just not set to "off"!) b) or switch it on c) or leave it off and do a tp (Either to another sim or do a shortrange-tp but not a sit-tp!) d) or leave it off and relog. What should happen: a) Nothing because you did nothing. b) Just the message that usually appears when activating the RLV-relay. c) Just teleporting. d) Just logging in. What actually happens: In all 4 cases the HUD behaves like having detected an accidental/illegal detach and attempts to re-rezz the "missing" cuffs, triggering the alarm (Just if set to "on" of course.) and messages the owner. This happens always but not immediately at any time. There can be a delay lasting up to a few minutes. An odd sideeffect coming with the re-rezz are additional surplus cuffs in the inventory. (For example, if 4 cuffs are "missing", the HUD tries to rezz 6 or 7.) I thought of a damaged HUD at first but a replacement didn't change anything. |

Hi Miriam, thanks for the detailed repro. Quick question though: when you say wear some of them (just not all) are you wearing for example: 1. left arm but not right arm, or 2. wrists only but not ankles The proper solution is a lot more involved than might be practical (we're pretty much limited in script memory size), and I need to understand the issue better in order to decide how to handle this situation (especially if it might be a rare situation)... |

Hi Miriam, This bug is partially fixed in the next patch (7.0.11) when you next unlock the Cuffs. It probably won't bother you again after that. It will be fully fixed in the 7.1 update later. Thanks for reporting this 🙂 |
