Description: 1. Manually attaching the used Collar to Spine What should happen: The Collar should show up and shouldn't move with the head movement of my AO What actually happens: It gets detached from the HUD again with the following message: You wear your Lulu Collar on your spine. You admire yourself for a few moments before realizing how odd it looks there. You decide to take it off quickly before someone notices. (Please re-wear it on your spine instead. If it was air-rezzed, your HUD could be borked. Please get a new HUD and start over) |

Hi Vanny, that's by design, it's not a bug. The Gravity feature requires a pre-determined attachment point, in this case the neck, for it to work. |

Even if it's closed already: I would suggest that the info text which pops up when you attach it on spine, should be changed then. Since right now it says that I have to re-wear it at my spine, which isn't possible by design then 🙂 |

Another question though: Why did you change the spot from spine to neck anyways? I was just browsing your page, lulu, finding that you wrote this article once, which I 100% agree to: https://lululudovico.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/113695 |

Hey Vanny, I missed that 'spine' reference. Thanks for that. |

The Collar was originally attached to the spine, but I've had numerous requests to attach it to the neck instead. There are pluses and minuses of either solution, but on the balance, these are the reasons why I moved the Collar over to the neck: * when attached to spine, the Collar needed to be rotated by scripts as the sub cycles through various crawls in the PetCrawl AO, so as not to look awkward when the neck is bent backwards or forwards. This added a layer of complexity to the code, and in laggy situations, is less than ideal as the movements are not synced. This also meant any anim that moved your head/neck back or forwards (e.g. dance) will see your neck leave the Collar. Side neck movements are fine. * attached to the neck, the problem takes care of itself. I just (!) needed to solve the problem of calculating Gravity for a non-static Collar. Which I did for HUD7. |

Thank you for the explaination of your decision, lulu. Makes it much clearer for me. |
